Breeze from the east

Sailboats at anchor in Holmes Harbor don’t usually point east. It’s much more common to see them heading to the north, south or west. Drew Kampion, founder of Whidbey’s famous Drew’s List, caught this odd behavior from Freeland Hall one spring afternoon when the boats, the water and the clouds all clearly showed that the wind was coming from the east. No word what crazy thing the weather did next in this year of crazy weather. Perhaps Drew will fill us in.

Thanks for sharing Drew.
