After a night of thunder and lightning, this morning the harbor was placid. The crew from Ballard Diving and Salvage was on site bright and early and the diver was back in the water, wrapping and filling the boat with cheery yellow air bags.
Once the prep work was done it didn’t take long for her to surface, then a bit later we could read her name, Breesea.
The family says the problem was a failed bilge pump. They’ve been through a rough couple of days.
But tonight she’s back, riding at anchor again and looking as if nothing ever happened.
