When the administration first talked about using stimulus funds to create green jobs I thought of the obvious things like installing solar panels and insulation. Now stimulus money is creating some jobs that will directly help conditions under the surface of Puget Sound.
The ghost net clean up project funds 40 or so jobs, but more important it enables the project of cleaning up 3,000 lost fishing nets to be finished quickly instead of taking a decade. So many of the problems the Sound faces need quick action like this. This if very good news.
