Short Story Smash Contest
A Whidbey Island Center for the Arts sponsored event
If it weren’t for the fact that my writer buddy and contest organizer, Chris Spencer decided to decorate his announcement of a short story contest with an image of Moses parting the Red Sea I wouldn’t have a good excuse for posting about this.
But he did. And of course I can make almost anything connect to the water in some way. It’s amazing really, this knack I’ve developed.
Let me tell you, Chris can deliver a story. And he rolls with a posse of other characters who are also great entertainers.
Since this event, Chris has moved his contest online. Check out examples at Smash Story Contest.
Strict Rules for Submissions:
1) All short stories must be 100 words exactly; not 99 or less or 101 plus. Violators will be publicly humiliated.
