Google cleans the roof

Oh if only they would develop that app!

Back when I wrote about cleaning my own roof (wow – a year ago, it needs attention again) I didn’t have solar panels to worry about. And to tell the truth it never occurred to me to include instructions for cleaning solar panels that a reader might find up there. Quite the oversight.

But never fear, Google has stepped into the breach releasing data about cleaning solar panels on their own roof and the effect it has on energy output.

This is interesting, though not too surprising. Accumulations of dirt have a negative effect on most people’s energy level. Unfortunately when the sun shines I tend to use all my energy for playing and have none left for cleaning.
