I love this Edward S Curtis Puget Sound scene. Puget Sound is most often depicted in blues, greens or grays.  This image stands out just by it’s sepia tones.  Then there’s the quality of contemplation and well earned repose in the figures, along with the gentle atmosphere of a calm summer twilight.
